You will stay in our own private holiday resort, in a small chalet of local architecture situated amongst the olive groves on the shore of Lake Bafa with a wonderful view of the mountains. Here you are close to the wetlands of the Great Meander and the picturesque rocky region of the Besparmak Mountains (1360 meters) as well as the ancient towns of Herakleia and Latmos. Within walking distance of the lake you can see such species as Cretzschmar’s Bunting, Scops Owl, Pigmy Cormorant, Ferrugineous Duck, Hoopoe, Krueper’s Nuthatch, Dalmatian Pelican, Roller, Sombre Tit as well as Syrian and Middle-spotted Woodpecker. We will be happy to inform you about the various interesting locations where you can see Bee-Eaters, Chukar, Bornelli’s Eagle, Lesser Kestrel, Pied and Smyrna Kingfisher, Cinereous Bunting and White-tailed Eagle. Nearby are the famous ruins of Ephesus, Miletus, Priene and Halikarnassus.
